Surface Pattern Design: Principles, Drawing and Collections

This Specialization, taught by Di Ujdi, is intended for aspiring surface pattern designers seeking to develop a cohesive creative process. Through three courses, you will cover key principles of pattern design, analog repeat techniques, and how to create and present a full pattern collection. These skills will prepare you to produce industry-ready work and pitch to clients confidently

• Create hand-drawn repeat patterns using paper, paints, and minimal digital editing
• Plan, structure, and develop a complete surface pattern collection with professional presentation

• No deep prior experience is required, but basic computer and internet skills are helpful
