Math Fundamentals: Integrals

This course revisits the foundational concepts of integral calculus. We cover the primitive function, (pseudo)immediate integration techniques, integration by substitution, integration by parts, and the application of the definite integral to the calculation of areas.

• The concept of primitive, its properties and the concept of immediate primitive.
• Pseudo-immediate primitives.
• Primitives of Arcotangent type.
• Primitives of rational functions.
• The definite integral and area calculus.
• Change of variable and integration by parts.

• For the proper use of this course it is essentially necessary that you remember the derivative of elementary functions: powers, exponential, logarithm, etc.
