Job Description & Responsibilities
The successful accountant will be integrated into the company's finance and accounting team, responsible for a range of core accounting and financial tasks to ensure the accuracy of financial records and smooth operation of processes. Expected responsibilities include:
- Preparing and managing daily journal entries and bank reconciliations.
- Contributing to the preparation of periodic financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement).
- Managing accounts receivable and payable, following up on collections and payments.
- Conducting periodic inventory counts and account reconciliations.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and management financial reports.
- Ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and local standards (such as International Financial Reporting Standards - IFRS).
- Collaborating with external auditors during annual audit processes.
- Efficiently using accounting software and financial systems (e.g., ERP - SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Performing any other related financial duties as assigned by the department head.
Requirements & Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (such as CMA, ACCA, CPA) are a strong advantage.
- Experience: Proven work experience in the accounting field. (The specific number of years required will be determined precisely by the employer during the evaluation process).
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
