Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Area Sales Manager will bear a set of key responsibilities focused on driving performance and achieving growth. You will lead and guide the sales team to ensure sales and revenue targets are met. Developing and implementing effective sales plans and strategies for the region, in alignment with the company's overall goals, will be among your top priorities.

Detailed responsibilities include:

  • Leading and directing a team of sales representatives to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Developing comprehensive regional sales action plans, including identifying target markets and penetration strategies.
  • Analyzing market performance and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key clients and accounts in the region.
  • Identifying new business growth opportunities and proposing initiatives to increase market share.
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards and policies in all sales operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of practical experience in sales, with a proven track record of at least 3 years in a leadership position (e.g., Sales Manager or Senior Sales Supervisor).
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of sales and marketing strategies, and the dynamics of the Saudi market.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to assess market data and performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Personality: A leadership-oriented, proactive individual capable of working under pressure to meet targets.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a distinct advantage.
