Job Description
The Auto Fabricator will be stationed in a specialized workshop, responsible for a range of precise technical tasks requiring high accuracy and manual dexterity. Key responsibilities will include:
- Fabricating, fitting, and repairing vehicle body panels using various techniques.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering diagrams.
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping metal sheets (such as steel and aluminum) to meet required specifications.
- Operating specialized tools and machinery including saws, press brakes, and welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Arc).
- Performing repair work on vehicle bodies damaged from accidents or corrosion.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborating with other technicians and supervisors to complete tasks within set timelines.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Proven hands-on experience of 3 to 5 years as an Auto Fabricator or in a similar metal fabrication role (e.g., industrial welding, metal fabrication).
