Job Description
Suntech Engineers in Kuwait is currently seeking a qualified Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for a wide range of projects, including commercial buildings, residential complexes, and industrial facilities. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and backup power systems.
- Prepare electrical drawings and technical specifications using engineering design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Perform electrical load calculations and select appropriate equipment.
- Collaborate with architects and civil engineers to ensure integration of electrical designs with overall project designs.
- Review designs to ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and standards.
- Provide technical support during the construction and installation phases.
- Prepare regular technical progress reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical design.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and international standards such as IEC and NEC.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED are an added advantage.
