Job Description and Responsibilities

They will be directly responsible for planning and executing both routine and emergency maintenance operations to ensure uninterrupted workflow.

Key responsibilities include:

• Directly supervising a team of electrical maintenance technicians and assigning daily tasks.
• Developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance plans for electrical systems and equipment, ensuring adherence to scheduled timelines.
• Diagnosing complex electrical faults, proposing appropriate technical solutions, and carrying out repairs.
• Monitoring the performance of electrical systems (such as distribution panels, motors, lighting systems, control systems) to ensure they operate within required technical and safety standards.
• Ensuring full compliance of the work team and technicians with all occupational health and safety procedures during maintenance activities.
• Managing inventory of electrical spare parts and tools, and initiating necessary purchase requisitions for maintenance work.
• Preparing periodic reports on equipment status, completed maintenance work, and any recorded malfunctions, and submitting them to management.
• Training and developing the skills of maintenance technicians to enhance team efficiency.
• Coordinating with other departments (e.g., Operations, Engineering) to execute planned maintenance work without disrupting production.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be eligible for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, or a Higher Technical Diploma in Electricity with extensive experience.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of practical experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Technical Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical principles, industrial systems, and control panels (PLC knowledge is a strong plus).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and engineering diagrams.
  • Experience working with low and medium voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety systems and relevant local regulations in Kuwait.
• Personal Skills:
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
