Job Description
The Financial Analyst will play a central role within the company's finance department, responsible for a range of critical tasks that support management decision-making. Key responsibilities will include:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Developing and presenting periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) that analyze company performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Budgeting & Forecasting Analysis: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, comparing actual results against plans, and providing explanations for variances.
- Cost & Profitability Analysis: Evaluating costs across different projects or departments and analyzing profit margins to enhance operational efficiency.
- Strategic Planning Support: Providing data-driven financial insights to support growth initiatives, expansion plans, and new investment opportunities.
- Financial Modeling: Building financial models to evaluate different business scenarios and their financial impact.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and its compliance with accounting standards and internal company policies.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Working closely with sales, operations, and management teams to gather data and understand the operational context for analyses.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, or CFA are a significant advantage.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in financial analysis or accounting, preferably within a large commercial, industrial, or multinational corporate environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts) and presentation software.
- Strong experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; knowledge of SAP is a strong plus.
- Ability to work with databases and extract information.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional analytical and investigative skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and present it in a clear, concise manner to management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
