Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The appointed Merchandiser will be placed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, primarily responsible for ensuring optimal product presentation and availability at point-of-sale locations. The core responsibilities expected for this role include:
- Visual Merchandising Management: Arranging and organizing products on shelves and display areas according to company standards and specific planograms to enhance visual appeal and drive sales.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring shelf stock levels, ensuring products are fully and neatly stacked, and continuously replenishing merchandise.
- Team Coordination: Working closely with store managers, sales staff, and buyers to ensure effective implementation of promotional campaigns and special offers.
- Competitor Monitoring: Conducting field visits to other stores (as required) to observe competitor displays, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring all displayed products are in perfect condition, removing expired or damaged items from shelves.
- Reporting: Preparing basic reports on stock status, sales levels for specific SKUs, and any challenges on the shop floor.
Required Qualifications & Skills
To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A High School Certificate (Secondary School) as a minimum. A diploma or relevant qualifications in marketing, retail, or business administration will be preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role (Merchandiser, Shelf Assistant, Field Sales Representative) within the retail or FMCG sector will be prioritized. The company may also consider enthusiastic fresh graduates willing to learn.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
- Organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Other Requirements:
- Proficiency in English for basic workplace communication. Knowledge of Arabic will be a significant advantage.
