Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assess the condition of donors or patients prior to the procedure and ensure they meet all health criteria.
• Closely monitor patients/donors during and after the apheresis process to detect and manage any adverse reactions promptly.
• Operate and maintain sophisticated apheresis equipment, ensuring sterilization according to the highest standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

Educational Qualifications and Licenses:

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a recognized nursing diploma.

Required Experience:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of practical nursing experience, with preference given to experience in related departments such as: Emergency Rooms, Intensive Care Units, Hematology/Oncology departments, or Blood Banks.
• Prior direct experience in performing apheresis procedures is considered an essential requirement or a very strong advantage, depending on the client's specific needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to work with high precision under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to the highest standards of professional ethics and confidentiality.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts (morning, evening, night) as required by the department.
• Proficiency in English for handling equipment and medical reports. Knowledge of Arabic is an additional advantage.
