Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Piping Draftsman will be assigned to engineering teams or contracting companies and will be responsible for translating engineering concepts and schematics into precise, executable drawings. The core responsibilities of this position include:

• Preparing detailed drawings of piping systems (Isometric, Orthographic, Layout Drawings) using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Working closely with Piping Engineers and the design team to understand technical requirements and specifications.
• Updating existing drawings and maintaining accurate records of all technical documents.
• Reviewing drawings to ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and project safety regulations.
• Preparing Bills of Materials (BOM) associated with the drawings.
• Contributing to solving technical problems that may arise during design or implementation phases.
• Ensuring all drawings adhere to the quality standards and specifications set by the client or the company.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements
