Pre-Sales Engineer - Bahrain
Ashrafs is seeking a qualified Pre-Sales Engineer to join their team in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This role is a cornerstone of the technical sales function, acting as the crucial bridge between complex technical capabilities and clear customer benefits, directly contributing to business growth and success.
Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Pre-Sales Engineer will be responsible for supporting sales activities by providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Technical Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to identify and understand clients' technical and business requirements.
- Presentation & Demonstration: Design and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations, effectively highlighting the value proposition of proposed solutions.
- Needs Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of customer needs and propose the most suitable technical solutions that address those needs while aligning with their budget.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), technical specification documents, and proposed implementation plans.
- Internal Liaison: Act as the key liaison between the sales team and internal engineering/development teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment.
- Solution Development: Contribute to the crafting and development of competitive technical value propositions.
- Market Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the relevant field.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Communications, or a related technical/engineering field.
- Work Experience: Proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar role as a Pre-Sales Engineer or in a technical/support engineering role with direct customer interaction.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, software systems, or cloud solutions (depending on company focus). Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business problems and design effective solutions.
- Personal Attributes: Team player, ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, and driven to achieve targets.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is a strong advantage in the Bahraini job market.
