Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The appointed Store Manager will be responsible for the overall management and commercial performance of the store, with a core focus on achieving sales targets and profitability while upholding the brands' premium standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and motivate the store sales team to achieve their full potential. Be responsible for recruitment, training, and continuous development of team members to ensure exceptional customer service delivery.
- Performance Management: Set clear sales targets for the store team and regularly monitor performance against these goals. Analyze sales reports and take corrective action when necessary to drive business results.
- Operations & Management: Oversee all day-to-day operational aspects of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, compliance with brand-defined display standards, and health & safety procedures.
- Customer Experience: Ensure a consistent, luxurious, and personalized customer service level is delivered to all clients, aligning with the global image and values of both Sandro and Maje. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and effectively.
- Financial Management: Contribute to budget planning and control store operational expenses within agreed limits. Manage costs and resources efficiently.
- Marketing & Promotion: Execute local marketing initiatives and participate in brand events within the mall to drive brand awareness and footfall.
Required Qualifications & Skills
To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong preference for backgrounds in the luxury or premium fashion sector.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated strong ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team to achieve results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) in English; Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Commercial Acumen: Solid understanding of retail KPIs and P&L management. Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
- Brand Knowledge: A good understanding of fashion brands and market trends. A genuine passion for the Sandro and Maje brands and their aesthetic is crucial.
- Personal Attributes: Dynamic personality, ability to work under pressure, and outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills. A university degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
