Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Cash Liquidity Management: Planning, monitoring, and forecasting cash flows to ensure all company financial obligations are met. Optimizing returns on cash surplus and managing short-term funding needs.
• Financial Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and managing key financial risks, including foreign exchange (FX) risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk. Developing and implementing appropriate hedging strategies.
• Banking Relationships: Managing relationships with banks and financial institutions. Negotiating terms for loans, credit facilities, and banking fees to secure the best possible terms.
• Financing & Debt: Contributing to the development of the company's funding strategy. Managing the existing debt portfolio and negotiating new financing arrangements as required.
• Investments: Managing the company's short-term investments in accordance with the approved investment policy, with a focus on safety, liquidity, and yield.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Providing detailed financial analysis and reports on treasury performance to senior management. Contributing to financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensuring all treasury operations comply with company internal policies, regulations, and international accounting standards. Developing and strengthening internal control frameworks within the treasury department.
• Team Leadership: Supervising, mentoring, and developing the treasury team to ensure efficient achievement of objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this leadership opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CTP, FMVA) is a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in treasury or finance, with at least 3 years of proven experience in a leadership role (Treasury Manager or Head of Treasury). Experience in a large corporate or multinational environment is required.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in treasury management principles, financial market instruments, risk management, and corporate finance. Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Skills: Exceptional analytical and strategic skills. Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities. Excellent leadership and communication skills (verbal and written). Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are an additional advantage.
