Scholarship for PhD study in developing sorbents for CO2 capture from flue gas emissions.

The successful students will have a unique opportunity to work closely with researchers from the Centre for Advanced Materials and Industrial Chemistry (CAMIC) of RMIT and Scientists from CSIRO in a multidisciplinary team environment.Development and optimization of solid CO₂ adsorbents to capture the CO₂ from the flue gas streams.Development of new approaches in carbon capture and storage.Scholarship provides a stipend of $34,000 per annum (full-time) for three years and six months, with a possible extension of six months, and successful applicant will also be awarded a Tuition Fee Scholarship if required.
