The Janetta McStay Prize for Pianists will be awarded each year by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Head of the School of Music to the most deserving Piano student who has completed at least one year of a Performance degree or diploma program of Music at the University of Auckland and is proceeding to further piano study in the School of Music or elsewhere.
