Requirements

Applicants for the Mahmoud S. Rabbani Fellowship should be Arab or Dutch students.
Arab students must be nationals from North African and Middle Eastern member countries of the Arab League.
Dutch students must be of Dutch nationality.
Arab students should be accepted into Master's or PhD programs in the Netherlands, and Dutch students should be accepted into Master's or PhD programs in the Arab world.
Applicants should have good knowledge of English.
Candidates must be nationals of any of the following countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, or Yemen. Applications coming from the Netherlands should be by Dutch nationals.
Candidates applying for the Mahmoud S. Rabbani Fellowship should submit a curriculum vitae, an invitation letter from the host institution, motivation, and a statement of purpose.
Applicants should submit a copy of their passport, color passport-sized photo, and copies of degrees and diplomas.
Candidates are expected to submit signed references from two academic referees, a program outline, and the budget for it.
