Language/tests: For English-medium International Programs (IP): TOEFL ITP 500 or IELTS 5.0 or Duolingo 75-80, For regular Indonesian-medium programs: UKBI Level 4 (Madya), minimum score 482, All international students must complete BIPA (Indonesian for non-native speakers) before academic study, Regular program students: 1 full year of BIPA | English program students: 2 months only, Ahwal Syakhshiyah (Islamic Family Law) program: Arabic proficiency required (70% Arabic instruction)

Must be a non-Indonesian citizen (any foreign nationality)
For Bachelor's: maximum age 23 years at application; must be a secondary school graduate
For Master's: must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution
For PhD: must hold a Master's degree from a recognized institution
Must not be receiving any other scholarship at the time of application
Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75/4.00 each semester for scholarship renewal
Must submit an annual progress report in August each year
