Requirements

Each year, the examiners' choice of the student who has completed the finest work in German at Stage II will be presented with the Prize.
The student should, at the very least, have a 7.00 GPA in every German subject.
On the suggestion of the Deputy Head (Academic) of the School of Cultures, Languages and Linguistics (or nominee), in conjunction with the Major/Specialization Leader of German, the University of Auckland Council will award the Prize.
If no candidate satisfies the requirements or has enough merit, the University of Auckland Council is not required to give an award. There could be no prize sharing.
The University of Auckland Council may change or modify these rules as long as the Prize's primary objective is maintained.
