Overview

The University of Wrocław offers degrees at the bachelor’s , master’s and doctoral level . All faculties at the University of Wrocław provide at least one master's programme in English and some at the bachelor level . University of Wrocław has also different exchange agreements with many higher education institutions over the world and participates in numerous international exchange programmes such as Erasmus, ISEP, CEEPUS, Fulbright and others . Exchange students usually spend at the University of Wrocław a semester or two . Some of them come back to Wrocław to continue their education at Bachelor or Master level as regular full time students . In 2021 University of Wrocław joined the European University Alliance Arqus - one of the best - rated European university alliances . The Arqus European University Alliance brings together the universities of Wrocław, Granada, Bergen, Graz, Leipzig , Lyon, Padova , Vilnius and Minho - comprehensive research universities who share extensive experience in joint projects in many fields . Thanks to p articipation in Arqus University of Wrocław will develop common  curricula, develop joint full-time and distance learning projects and joint courses together with universities operating in the network.   University of Wrocław is the only university in south -western Poland that has been qualified for the programme : Initiative of Excellence – Research University. As the name of the programme indicates , it is an initiative which is to turn leading Polish universities into research institutions over the next six years . They will be comparable to the counterparts from Western Europe, the United States and Asia. The University of Wrocław takes part in the Lower Silesian Incubator of Entrepreneurship designed to help students in starting their own businesses by providing free entrepreneurial advice , organizing conferences , seminars , subsidizing selected investments and offering office space . The Lower Silesian Incubator of Entrepreneurship is a common initiative of twelve universities and Wrocław Technology Park, a technological center with laboratories, office space , conference center and modern multimedia equipment .
