It contains 2 deanships (Deanship of Scientific Research & Deanship of Students Affairs) and 16 colleges; 8 colleges of Sciences (Agriculture, Engineering, Medicine, Nursing, Science, Pharmacy, ِAllied medical science, & Information Technology; and 8 colleges of Humanities (Arts, Business Administration, Educational Sciences, Islamic Studies, Sport Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, & Graduate Studies). The university has more than 600 faculty members and more than 20000 students. It offers several undergraduate and postgraduate programs in different disciplines for national, regional, and international students. The university has developed and expanded rapidly over the past 37 years. It has become one of the best governmental universities in Jordan, gaining a high reputation at the national and regional levels.
