The University of Cuenca is a public educational institution governed by the principles established in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador and in the Organic Law of Higher Education, for humanism, freedom, inclusion and non-discrimination, gender equity, creative and plural thinking, free education up to the third level, accountability and equal opportunities for teachers, researchers, students, servers and workers. We offer 51 undergraduate degree programs, 30 masters degree programs and 1 doctoral program. Additionally we have a language instituto and a strong connection with the community.
