Job Description and Responsibilities

The appointed AI Architect will hold a key technical leadership position, with core responsibilities encompassing:

• Design and Strategy: Lead the design and planning of comprehensive infrastructure and architecture for AI and machine learning systems that align with the company's ambitious business objectives.
• Development and Implementation: Oversee the development and deployment of scalable, reliable AI models, ensuring their seamless integration with existing enterprise systems.

• **Innovation and Research:** Explore and evaluate the latest technologies, algorithms, and frameworks in AI (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud AI services) to implement innovative solutions.
  

• Team Leadership: Guide and review the work of data science and machine learning engineering teams, fostering knowledge transfer and ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Performance and Quality Management: Establish standards for model performance monitoring, data quality assurance, and managing the model lifecycle from development to production.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across various departments (business, product, development) to understand requirements and translate them into executable technical specifications.

Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees are a strong advantage.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience of 5 to 8 years in data science and machine learning engineering, with at least 3 years in an architect or senior technical leadership role focused on AI systems.
• Advanced Technical Skills:
  • Deep proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms and their AI services (AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, or Azure ML).
  • In-depth understanding of Big Data architectures and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Experience in designing scalable systems, APIs, and microservices infrastructure.
• Personal Skills: Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with the talent to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences. Strategic thinking and complex problem-solving aptitude are essential.
