Sales Manager - Flowmeter | Leading Sales in the Industrial Sector

A prominent "Gulf Technical Factory" is seeking to hire a professional and experienced Sales Manager specializing in Flowmeter products. This position represents a key leadership opportunity within a leading technical manufacturing plant in the Gulf region, focusing on the vital Saudi market, particularly in the Eastern Province encompassing the cities of Dammam, Khobar, and Jubail.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Sales Manager will hold a strategic position responsible for leading and developing the sales business for industrial flowmeter products. The core mission will be to drive market share and build robust relationships with clients in key industrial sectors.

The primary expected responsibilities include:

  • Leading the sales team or working individually to achieve defined sales and revenue targets for flowmeter products.
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies targeting key market segments such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Water Desalination, and Manufacturing.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing new client accounts, while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Preparing competitive technical and commercial quotations, and following up on tenders and projects through to closure.
  • Providing technical and marketing support to clients, understanding their application needs precisely to offer the most suitable solutions.
  • Analyzing market performance and sales reports, and providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Representing the company at industrial exhibitions and conferences to enhance presence and brand awareness.

Job Location

The primary work location will be in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a focus on the cities of Dammam, Khobar, and Jubail. The role may require travel within the region to meet client and project needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Work Experience: Proven experience of at least 7-10 years in industrial or engineering product sales, with a strong preference for those with specific experience in selling flowmeters, measurement instruments, or mechanical/hydraulic systems.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) or in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing. Advanced degrees or specialized sales management courses would be an added advantage.
  • Personal & Professional Skills:
    • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
    • Deep understanding of the industrial market dynamics in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, especially in the Eastern Province.
    • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
    • Good knowledge of flowmeter applications across different industries.
    • Strong organizational and effective time management skills.
  • Other Requirements: A valid driver's license, and willingness to travel as needed.
