Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The appointed accountant will hold a pivotal position within the Finance department, responsible for a range of critical tasks that support the company's financial accuracy and operational efficiency. The core responsibilities for this role include:

• Managing Daily Accounting Operations: Executing and recording financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner using the Financial Accounting (FI) module in SAP.
• Financial Reporting Preparation: Contributing to the preparation of periodic financial statements (such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flows) and required management reports.
• Reconciliation and Matching: Performing periodic account reconciliations (e.g., accounts receivable/payable, bank accounts) to ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with policies.
• Supporting Accounting Cycle Processes: Contributing to efficient and smooth month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
• Compliance and Control: Ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the company's internal policies, and participating in internal and external audit processes.
• Technical Support and Development: Acting as a liaison between the Finance department and the IT team to support and develop SAP financial processes, and proposing improvements for enhanced efficiency.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinating with other departments such as Sales, Procurement, and Inventory to ensure financial data integration.

Qualifications and Key Requirements

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) are a strong advantage.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in financial accounting, with proven, hands-on experience working on the SAP system, specifically the Financial (FI/CO) modules. Experience in a large corporate or multinational environment is required.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP Financial modules (FI, GL, AP, AR).
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel (advanced knowledge such as PivotTables and VLOOKUP).
  • Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
