Overview

A private university located within Tokyo in the Ikebukuro district, Rikkyo University is also known as St Paul’s University - a name which traces its origins back to 1794 when a European missionary founded a school for boys. 11 faculties exist at the university today, covering the following subject areas: Law and Politics, Arts, Intercultural Communication, Business, Science, Sociology, Economics, Tourism, Community and Human Services, Contemporary Psychology, and a Global Liberal Arts Program.
