Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Solutions Architect will serve as a strategic technical partner for customers in Kuwait and the region. The role will focus on understanding customers' complex business challenges and goals, then designing and building secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions using AWS services and platforms. It is not purely a technical role but requires high-level communication and consulting skills to deliver real value.

Key expected responsibilities include:

• Customer Consulting: Work closely with the sales and account management teams to deeply understand customers' technical and business requirements.
• Solution Design: Create and present comprehensive, secure, and best-practice-based architectural designs using AWS services, aligned with the customer's objectives and budget.
• Building Proofs of Concept (PoCs): Assist in building prototypes or conducting hands-on experiments to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
• Technical Guidance: Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers, guiding them through their cloud adoption journey, from planning to implementation and continuous optimization.
• Representing AWS: Represent AWS at industry events, workshops, and local conferences, evangelizing modern cloud technologies.
• Internal Collaboration: Work with product and engineering teams within AWS to relay customer feedback and contribute to service improvement.

Qualifications & Core Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar role such as Solutions Engineer, Systems Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Software Engineer with an architectural focus.
• Deep understanding and practical experience in at least one of the following domains: Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), Networking, Databases, Cybersecurity, or DevOps.
• Experience designing and deploying scalable, distributed applications on public or hybrid cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into executable plans.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification (highly preferred, and may be required for application).

Preferred Skills:

• Holding advanced AWS certifications such as Professional or Specialty.
• Previous experience working in a consulting environment or with direct customers.
• Knowledge of key market sectors in Kuwait and the Gulf region.
• Leadership skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.
