Job Description
Aventus Global Talent is seeking an experienced and highly competent Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) on behalf of one of its clients in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing the company's overall strategy, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
The Chief Strategy Officer will work closely with the executive management and board of directors to define the long-term vision, identify new growth opportunities, assess risks, and ensure alignment of all company divisions with strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's overall strategy in line with the vision and goals of senior management.
- Lead the long-term strategic planning process, including market and competitor analysis and identifying growth opportunities.
- Oversee the development of new strategic initiatives, such as expansion into new markets, launching new products/services, or executing mergers and acquisitions.
- Manage and analyze the company's financial and operational performance, providing recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Provide regular reports to the executive management and board of directors on the progress of strategy implementation.
- Build and lead a high-performing strategy team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory developments in Bahrain and the region.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in strategic planning, senior management, or management consulting, with a clear progression of responsibilities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. An MBA from a reputable university is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English (advanced level).
- Deep understanding of financial markets and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of strategic planning tools and methodologies.
- Personal Attributes: Strategic vision, excellent negotiation skills, ability to work under pressure, and high professional integrity.
