Job Description
As the Supply Chain Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain operations in the region, from procurement and warehousing to distribution and inventory management. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing effective supply chain strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.
- Managing relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure raw material quality.
- Overseeing warehousing operations and inventory management to ensure product availability without overstock.
- Coordinating transportation and logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyzing supply chain data and providing regular reports to senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food and beverage sector.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP or Oracle).
- Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
