Job Description

Ibn Khaldun Almadaen Engineering Consultants is seeking a qualified Structural Engineer / Bridge Engineer to join their team in Ad Dakhiliyah, Oman. The company specializes in engineering consultancy, infrastructure, and structural project design, and is looking for talented engineering professionals to contribute to their ambitious projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze concrete and steel structures and bridges in accordance with approved engineering codes and standards.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings and shop drawings for structural and bridge projects.
• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct technical studies and structural analysis using specialized engineering software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro).
• Prepare technical condition reports and structural assessments for existing structures.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, civil engineers, surveyors).
• Review contractor and consultant drawings and designs.
• Participate in preparing contracts and technical specifications for projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and supervision of bridge and infrastructure projects.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Bridge Engineering is preferred.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of international and local building codes (AASHTO, ACI, British Standards).
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
