Project Engineer - Muscat, Oman

A leading company in the engineering sector is seeking a Project Engineer to join its team in Muscat, Oman.

We are looking for an experienced and highly competent Project Engineer to contribute to the management and execution of various engineering projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning & Monitoring: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor progress against plans and identify any deviations.
• Coordination: Coordinate with different teams (design, procurement, construction) to ensure smooth workflow.
• Resource Management: Manage human and material resources allocated to the project, including equipment and materials.
• Quality Control: Ensure the application of quality and safety standards throughout all project phases.
• Reporting: Prepare periodic project status reports for senior management and clients.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise.
• Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the project's progress.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or any related engineering discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in contracting or engineering consulting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
• Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
• Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
