Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The newly appointed Customer Relations Officer will serve as the primary link between the company and its valued clients, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring an exceptional service experience. The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Customer Communication Management: Receiving and responding to customer inquiries and complaints through multiple channels (phone, email, social media) in a professional, effective, and timely manner.
- Problem Resolution: Working to deeply understand customer concerns and providing appropriate and swift solutions to any issues related to shipping, tracking, invoicing, or other logistics services.
- Providing Information: Informing customers about their shipment status, service rates, expected timelines, and any relevant delivery updates.
- Follow-up: Conducting regular follow-ups with clients after service completion to gauge their satisfaction levels and gather valuable feedback for quality improvement.
- Documentation: Accurately recording details of all customer interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure a complete record and effective follow-through.
- Internal Collaboration: Working closely with operations, sales, and warehouse departments to coordinate information and ensure customer requirements are executed on the ground.
- Service Promotion: Introducing clients to new logistics services and products offered by the company when a suitable opportunity arises.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of practical experience in customer service or customer relations, with preference given to experience in the logistics, transportation, or operational company sectors.
- Personal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Superior active listening skills and empathy for customer needs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively to handle multiple requests.
