Job Description

As a Data Engineer at Joveo AI, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data pipelines that power the company's AI platform. You will process massive datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analytics and machine learning teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
• Build and maintain data infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis
• Collaborate with data science teams to ensure clean and structured data availability
• Monitor and optimize data system performance for reliability and speed
• Document data processes and infrastructure

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in data engineering or a similar role
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with ETL tools like Apache Airflow, Talend, or Informatica
  • Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data services like Redshift or BigQuery
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts
• Soft Skills:
  • Ability to work independently in a remote team environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Analytical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
