Job Description
The Director, People & Culture will hold a strategic leadership role, serving as the primary leader for all aspects of human resources and workplace culture development within the designated project. This individual will work closely with executive management to translate business objectives into effective talent management strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a comprehensive People & Culture strategy aligned with Ennismore's global vision and the local project's objectives in Saudi Arabia.
- Overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and recruitment to onboarding, development, and retention of top talent.
- Designing and implementing training and development programs that enhance team capabilities and elevate service standards, which are paramount in the luxury hospitality sector.
- Building and maintaining a strong organizational culture that reflects Ennismore's values, fosters engagement, and drives productivity and innovation.
- Ensuring full compliance with Saudi Arabian labor laws and local regulations in all employee-related practices.
- Managing employee relations, addressing any issues or conflicts proactively and fairly, and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Developing effective HR policies and procedures, and managing compensation, benefits, and reward systems.
- Leading internal communication initiatives to ensure transparency and team cohesion.
Requirements & Qualifications
Ennismore is seeking a candidate with proven leadership experience in a dynamic, multicultural environment, preferably within the luxury hospitality, retail, or related service industries.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) are a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Manager level or equivalent) within an international setting.
- Deep, demonstrated knowledge of local Saudi Arabian labor laws and employment practices.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and lead change.
- Strong understanding of best practices in talent management, organizational development, and culture building.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both English and Arabic.
- High integrity, strong professional ethics, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
