DARCO is currently recruiting for the position of Electrical Foreman to join their ongoing projects in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The appointed Electrical Foreman will be directly responsible for overseeing all electrical works on the project site. The primary duties will include:

• Supervision and Planning: Full supervision of electrical technicians and laborers, including daily task planning and allocation to ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.
• Quality and Safety Assurance: Ensuring all electrical installations (wiring, cabling, fittings) are executed according to approved technical specifications and the highest quality standards. The foreman is also responsible for the strict implementation of health and safety procedures on-site to prevent accidents.
• Coordination and Reporting: Coordinating with project managers, electrical engineers, and other departments or subcontractors on-site. Preparing daily and weekly progress reports, highlighting any challenges or material requirements.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Extensive practical experience may be considered in lieu of formal academic qualifications in some cases.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in electrical works within major construction sites and projects, with proven experience of at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role (Foreman or Team Leader).
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of building electrical systems (distribution, lighting, power, security, and alarm systems), and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Personal Skills: Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Additional Requirements: Proficiency in Arabic is essential. Knowledge of the English language is a distinct advantage. Candidates must be physically fit to work on a construction site.
