Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The financial expert will be placed in a dynamic and professional work environment, responsible for a range of critical tasks that support the authority's financial transparency and accuracy. The core responsibilities expected for this role include:

  • Preparing and analyzing periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local best practices.
  • Contributing to periodic account closing processes and reviewing complex accounting entries.
  • Analyzing the financial performance of various investments and assets under the Authority's management.
  • Participating in the preparation of operational and capital budgets and monitoring their execution.

  • Contributing to the development and improvement of accounting systems and policies to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To be eligible for this specialized role within a prestigious authority, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university. A postgraduate degree (Master's) or global professional certifications are a strong advantage.
  • Professional Certifications: Holding a recognized professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA is highly preferred.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 5 to 8 years of practical experience in financial accounting or auditing, with proven expertise in preparing financial statements under IFRS. Experience in the investment sector, large financial institutions, or multinational corporations is a significant competitive advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in accounting software packages (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
