Job Overview
The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and developing all aspects of the Human Resources function within the company. Given the company's location in Abqaiq, a vital area for oil production in the Kingdom, this role is centered on supporting the technical, engineering, and administrative workforce that drives petroleum service operations. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to management, contributing to operational goals through effective human capital management.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with the company's business objectives and culture.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection processes for critical roles within the petroleum services sector, ensuring the attraction of suitable talent.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, including integration and orientation processes.
- Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent in a competitive job market.
- Oversee performance appraisal systems, career development pathways, and succession planning to ensure business continuity.
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi Labor Law and relevant regulations governing the oil and gas sector.
- Lead workforce development and training initiatives to enhance skills and capabilities.
- Manage employee relations and foster a positive, productive, and safe work environment.
- Oversee administrative affairs related to personnel and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (HR major), Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) will be a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role as an HR Manager or Head of HR.
- Proven prior experience working within the oil and gas, energy, or heavy engineering/services industries. Understanding the field-based nature and operational workflows of this sector is essential.
- In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and local market practices.
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of management and staff.
- High proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex HR issues.
- Proficient knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
