Fitout Interiors & Contracting WLL is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join their finance department in Doha, Qatar. Job Description

The Junior Accountant will be integrated into the company's finance team, providing essential daily accounting support under the guidance of senior accountants or the finance manager. Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation and posting of daily journal entries into the accounting system.
• Participating in bookkeeping and performing periodic bank reconciliations.
• Aiding in the preparation of customer invoices and following up on accounts receivable.
• Processing supplier invoices and payments under supervision.
• Contributing to the preparation of preliminary financial statements and periodic reports.
• Assisting with asset and inventory counts.
• Maintaining organized and confidential financial files and records.
• Collaborating with the procurement and projects departments to ensure financial data accuracy.
• Performing other accounting-related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Internship or training experience in accounting is preferred, but the role is also well-suited for highly motivated fresh graduates eager to learn.
• Technical Skills:
  • Foundational knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is a significant advantage.
