Job Description

The Junior Engineer will be integrated into the IT Infrastructure team, responsible for assisting in maintaining the stability and efficiency of the technical systems that support company operations. He/She will work under the supervision of experienced engineers and learn the fundamentals of managing and maintaining critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities & Expected Duties:

• Assist in monitoring the performance and health of server and network systems.
• Provide basic technical support to resolve user issues related to infrastructure.
• Participate in implementing upgrades and routine maintenance activities for systems under guidance.
• Help in documenting standard operating procedures and system configurations.
• Support the IT team in expansion or technical upgrade projects.
• Ensure adherence to basic cybersecurity standards in assigned tasks.

Requirements & Qualifications

The company is looking for enthusiastic, learning-oriented candidates with a strong foundational knowledge of technical principles.

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as: Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline.
• Good theoretical understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP).
• Basic knowledge of server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server or Linux).

Preferred Skills (Will be an added advantage):

• Basic understanding of cloud computing technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure or AWS).
• Good English language skills (reading and writing).
