Job Description
The Key Account Manager (West Region) will play a pivotal role in driving and developing L'Oréal's business within Modern Trade channels in the Western region of Saudi Arabia, with a primary focus on Jeddah. The core responsibility will be to manage strategic relationships with major retail partners (Key Accounts) to achieve sales, market share, and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for key accounts in the Western region to meet financial objectives.
- Build and strengthen strong, sustainable working relationships with senior-level decision-makers at key retail partners.
- Analyze market and sales performance, provide regular reports, and propose action plans to improve results.
- Lead negotiations on commercial terms, shelf arrangements, and promotional campaigns with accounts.
- Ensure optimal in-store presence of L'Oréal products in terms of visibility, pricing, and merchandising.
- Work closely with internal marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure full coordination in servicing accounts.
- Oversee the implementation of brand standards at points of sale.
- Identify new growth opportunities within existing accounts or by opening new distribution channels.
Requirements and Qualifications
L'Oréal is seeking candidates with a proven track record in sales and key account management within a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or key account management, preferably within the FMCG, cosmetics, or retail industry.
- Strong hands-on experience managing Modern Trade channels with major retail networks in Saudi Arabia.
- In-depth knowledge of the Western Saudi region and the Jeddah market specifically.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and budgets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make commercial decisions.
- Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
