Afaq is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Learning Associate to join its Warehouse Branch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Learning Associate will be embedded in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment. The primary focus will be on designing, delivering, and evaluating learning and development initiatives that address the specific operational needs of the warehouse branch. Core responsibilities include:

• Training Needs Analysis: Work closely with warehouse supervisors and managers to identify skill and knowledge gaps within the operations teams and develop proactive training plans to address them.
• Instructional Design and Content Development: Create effective, focused training materials (e.g., process guides, presentations, hands-on training modules) related to warehouse safety procedures, order processing, inventory management, equipment handling, and logistics software systems.
• Training Facilitation: Conduct engaging in-person and virtual training sessions for the warehouse team, ensuring participant interaction and knowledge retention.
• Evaluation and Follow-up: Develop mechanisms to assess the impact of training programs on individual and team performance, and report on training ROI to management.
• Supporting a Learning Culture: Contribute to fostering an environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth within the warehouse branch, promoting best practices.
• Coordination with HR: Collaborate with Afaq's central Human Resources department to align warehouse development programs with the company's overall Learning & Development strategy.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in training and development. Experience in a logistics, industrial, or warehouse setting is highly preferred. Background in the logistics sector is a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Word).
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver them in a clear, engaging manner.
  • Outstanding organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of an operational warehouse environment.
