Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

  • Managing Government Relations: Acting as a primary liaison between the Oman Investment Authority and various government bodies and agencies. Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To be eligible for this leadership position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree such as an MBA or a professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is highly preferred.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, or strategic finance, with a significant portion in leadership or supervisory roles. Experience dealing with the government sector or within national investment entities is a major competitive advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, data analysis, and the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Deep knowledge of capital markets, financing instruments, and local/international financial regulations.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and managerial abilities, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills across all levels (including engagement with senior government officials). The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Language: Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
