Job Description

The Murex Expert will be placed within a specialized technical team, responsible for a range of core tasks supporting the company's financial and trade operations. • Development & Configuration: Designing, developing, and customizing modules and workflows within the Murex platform to meet the company's specific business requirements.
• Support & Maintenance: Providing Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for the platform, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring system stability and performance.
• Upgrades & Integration: Managing system upgrade processes and integration with other systems within the company's IT infrastructure.
• Analysis & Requirements: Working closely with business teams and end-users to analyze their needs and translate them into actionable technical specifications for the platform.
• Documentation & Training: Preparing technical documentation and conducting training sessions for users and support teams to ensure optimal platform utilization.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Mandatory Technical Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience of at least 5 years working on the Murex platform (Version 3.1 or later).
• Deep expertise in configuring and developing core Murex modules such as: Front Office (FO), Back Office (BO), Risk Management, and Datamart.
• Proficiency in relevant programming and query languages like SQL, Java, and Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
• Strong understanding of financial market processes and instruments, particularly in the Middle East context.
• Experience with system upgrade projects (Murex Upgrade) and related project management.
