A client of 6 Pence is actively recruiting for an Oracle Fusion Procurement Consultant position in Manama, Bahrain. Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The successful consultant will occupy a pivotal role within the consulting team, responsible for providing technical and functional expertise related to the Procurement module of Oracle Fusion Applications. Core responsibilities will include:

  • Implementation & Configuration: Leading or actively participating in the implementation phases of Oracle Fusion Procurement projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, and system configuration according to best practices and the client's specific business needs.
  • Support & Consulting: Providing post-go-live consulting support to clients, assisting them in optimizing procurement processes, resolving complex functional and technical issues, and managing organizational change associated with the new system.
  • Integration & Testing: Ensuring seamless integration of the Procurement module with other Oracle Fusion modules such as Financials and Supply Chain Management (SCM). Overseeing the preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans (functional and integration).
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: Developing training materials and conducting training sessions for end-users and the client's internal support team to ensure maximum utilization of the system's capabilities.
  • Staying Current: Keeping abreast of the latest updates, features, and releases for Oracle Fusion Applications and assessing their impact on the company's clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be a suitable candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Practical Experience: Proven hands-on experience of 3 to 5 years in consulting and implementing Oracle Fusion Applications, with a strong focus on the Procurement Module. Previous experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Procurement is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the end-to-end business processes and workflows of the complete procurement cycle (Requisition to Pay), supplier management, contracts, and electronic invoicing.
  • Consulting Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills, with strong client relationship management abilities and the skill to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Professional Certifications: Oracle professional certifications (e.g., Oracle Fusion Procurement Cloud Certification) are a highly competitive advantage.
  • Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic will be an additional asset in the Bahraini job market.
