Job Description
Indman DMCC is announcing an exciting job opportunity in Doha, Qatar for a Painting/Coating Inspector. This position is ideal for experienced professionals in the field of painting and coating inspection within industrial, oil, and gas projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all painting and coating works are carried out in accordance with international standards and project specifications. Key tasks include conducting regular inspections, preparing inspection reports, and verifying the quality of materials used.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in painting and coating inspection (preferably in oil & gas or industrial projects)
- Recognized professional certifications in coating inspection (e.g., NACE or SSPC)
- Strong knowledge of ISO and ASTM standards related to painting and coating
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and instrumental inspections of painting and coating works
- Ensure materials used comply with required specifications
- Prepare detailed inspection reports
- Follow up on corrective actions for any defects
- Coordinate with project teams and contractors
