Job Description
As a Procurement Engineer at Najah Business Solutions LLC, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and supply operations for materials and equipment required for company operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing company needs for materials and equipment
- Researching and evaluating local and international suppliers
- Negotiating contracts and prices with suppliers
- Following up on purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery
- Managing inventory and ensuring availability of essential materials
- Preparing periodic reports on procurement performance
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure procurement aligns with technical specifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good knowledge of procurement management software and ERP systems
- Familiarity with local and international trade regulations
Preferred Skills
- Experience in oil & gas or manufacturing industries
- Professional procurement certifications (CIPS or equivalent)
- Data analysis and reporting skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural team environment
