Najah Business Solutions LLC is announcing an excellent employment opportunity for a Procurement Engineer to work in Sohar Industrial City, Sultanate of Oman. This position is ideal for ambitious engineers with experience in procurement and logistics.

Job Description

As a Procurement Engineer at Najah Business Solutions LLC, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and supply operations for materials and equipment required for company operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing company needs for materials and equipment
  • Researching and evaluating local and international suppliers
  • Negotiating contracts and prices with suppliers
  • Following up on purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery
  • Managing inventory and ensuring availability of essential materials
  • Preparing periodic reports on procurement performance
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure procurement aligns with technical specifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good knowledge of procurement management software and ERP systems
  • Familiarity with local and international trade regulations

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in oil & gas or manufacturing industries
  • Professional procurement certifications (CIPS or equivalent)
  • Data analysis and reporting skills
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team environment
