Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The successful Project Manager will be entrusted with leading and directing a project or a portfolio of projects from initial planning through to final delivery. Core responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership and Planning: Providing full leadership to the project team, developing comprehensive project plans encompassing schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Daily Operations Management: Overseeing the day-to-day execution of project activities, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and local regulations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Acting as the primary liaison between the client, contractors, consultants, and any other relevant parties, ensuring effective and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Upholding the highest standards of quality and safety across all project phases.

Required Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, Mechanical) or a related project management field. A Master's degree or advanced professional certifications are a strong advantage.
  • Professional Certification: Possession of a recognized project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is highly preferred.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering major projects (preferably in infrastructure, construction, or energy sectors within the Middle East region).
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in project management software like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, along with in-depth knowledge of Saudi building codes and regulations.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Excellent leadership and managerial capabilities.
    • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills in both English and Arabic.
    • Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions under pressure.
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
    • Capability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
