Job Description and Responsibilities

The Project Manager will hold a pivotal leadership role, serving as the primary person responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, monitoring, and control of all aspects of assigned OHTL projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Leadership and Planning: Leading a multidisciplinary project team (engineering, construction, procurement, HSE). Developing a comprehensive project management plan encompassing scope, schedule, budget, quality assurance, and risk management.
• Execution Management: Directly supervising all project implementation phases, from initial design to commissioning and final handover. Ensuring compliance with the highest applicable local and international quality and safety standards.
• Cost and Schedule Control: Preparing and monitoring the detailed project budget, controlling costs to avoid overruns. Closely monitoring the schedule and taking immediate corrective actions to address any delays.
• Stakeholder Management: Acting as the central point of contact for the client (often a major utility company), subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant regulatory authorities. Ensuring effective communication and regular reporting on project progress.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensuring all project works comply with technical specifications, standard codes, environmental regulations, and Saudi safety laws.
• Problem Solving: Identifying technical or administrative obstacles and challenges that may face the project and leading the process of finding effective and timely solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or any related engineering discipline. A Master's degree or advanced professional certifications (such as PMP - Project Management Professional) is a significant advantage.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in managing energy infrastructure projects, with a strong and consistent focus on High-Voltage Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects. Experience in the Saudi or Gulf market is a strong competitive advantage.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of the design, construction, and maintenance phases of overhead transmission lines, technical specifications for equipment (towers, conductors, insulators, etc.), and related safety procedures.
• Leadership and Managerial Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate large, complex teams. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills. Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Language: Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
