Gootresorts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is currently seeking a professional and customer-oriented Receptionist (male/female) to join their team at one of the city's premier resort destinations.
Job Description
As the first point of contact for guests, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests and managing check-in/check-out procedures efficiently
- Handling reservations through the property management system
- Responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
- Coordinating with other departments (housekeeping, F&B, maintenance)
- Processing payments, invoices, and deposits accurately
- Resolving guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
- Providing local tourism information about Riyadh and the resort
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel or resort reception
- Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic (native) and English (spoken and written) is mandatory
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, friendly demeanor, problem-solving ability, teamwork, and stress management
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts (morning/evening), weekends, and public holidays
