Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Sales Manager will hold a leadership role responsible for guiding and directing the sales team to achieve the company's ambitious targets and increase market share. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership & Development: Leading, motivating, and mentoring the existing sales team, identifying training needs, and establishing individual development plans to ensure peak performance.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and executing comprehensive and effective sales strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and business model in the water treatment industry.
  • Business Development: Hunting for new business opportunities and developing innovative sales channels, with a focus on key market segments such as industrial, construction, utilities, and commercial sectors.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, including distributors and strategic partners.
  • Market Analysis: Conducting ongoing market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, providing proactive reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Target Achievement: Direct responsibility for achieving defined sales and revenue targets within the agreed timeline and budget.
  • Internal Coordination: Working closely with Marketing, Technical Support, and Logistics departments to ensure customer expectations are met and integrated solutions are delivered.

Qualifications & Core Requirements

To qualify for this leadership opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Work Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of at least 3 years in a leadership role (Sales Manager or Senior Sales Supervisor). Experience in related sectors such as water treatment, engineering, industrial products, or infrastructure is highly preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse sales team to deliver results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the UAE market, particularly Dubai, and a strong understanding of the water treatment sector or related industrial fields.
  • Analytical & Strategic Skills: Strong strategic analysis, planning, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced qualifications (e.g., an MBA) are a distinct advantage.
  • Language: Full professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Knowledge of the Arabic language is a significant competitive advantage.
